Tips:
- Cover ready made crepes with foil and store in tray underneath the griddle, until required
- To prevent sticking turn on medium heat, add oil and sprinkle with salt to cover base. Wait until some bluish smoke appears. Turn it off. Wipe oil with a paper towel. Turn the heat on and use it
- Clean griddle after use before storing. Turn the heat off (but don't wait until griddle is cold) and simply wipe with a paper towel, then wipe it with a oily cloth (use vegetable oil)
- Never wash it with soapy water
- To make 20 crepes, all you need is
4 eggs, ¼ teaspoon salt, 2 cups flour, 2 ¼ cups of milk, ¼ cup melted butter or margarine
